Milman-Pettis theorem

could someone please give me a short outline of the proof of
Milman-Pettis' theorem? (every uniformly convex banach space is reflexive)

Cannot find it in any book on functional analysis at hand.

There is a proof in Diestel's Sequences and Series in Banach
Spaces (p. 131). Of course, I don't know if you have this
book nearby.
